Behind the Scenes

Its always difficult to answer a question such as “ what is your favourite period as a costume designer ? ”, especially when you have the chance to travel in different worlds and times. For me, the nineteenth century is always a pleasure to investigate, because it was a turning point when people began to play with clothes, deciding on subtle details to indicate and build their personalities in the various levels of society. Up until the end of the eighteenth century silhouettes were more of an archetype.
